Over at Bach they've been on the hops again...brewing up their beer for the invitation only, NZIPA challenge at Smith's Craft-house in Queenstown. Loaded with Motueka, Peacharine, Riwaka and NZ101, it's as kiwi as a mighty ol' S-Bedford which toiled for an era to build our nation and quench thirsts, when NZ pioneered delivering beer to pubs in massive ~5,000 litre beer tankers.

Smooth as silk, juicy and bursting with tropical refreshment from iconic hops including Mosaic, Citra, Zythos and Azacca, all nestled on their signature Gladfield malt. Over at Bach they've been on the hops... and dusted off an old recipe for their trophy winning Limburg Czechmate to brew a classic Bohemian style Pilsner. Bohemian Pils malts and Czech Saaz hops combine for a smooth soft maltiness, firm hop bitterness, spicy and floral, with a crisp refreshing finish; One's not enough.

Over at Bach they've been on the Freestyle hop farms... dank and sticky fresh green cones of Nectaron were field harvested at their peak and hightailed to the brewery. Chris and Craig B weaved their brewing magic, dry hopped with new harvest pellets, Riwaka, Motueka, Nelson Sauvin, and Nectaron again, for a dank, dripping and fiercely fresh Hazy IPA. Expect waves of ripe stonefruit, sticky passionfruit and a resinous hum.

Originating from East Coast USA, the New England or Hazy IPA style de-emphasizes hop bitterness and showcases hop flavour and aroma reminiscent of tropical fruit juice. Bach Brewing have brewed their first hazy IPA with a juicy combination of Maris Otter; wheat malts, oats, and a truck load of tropical fruit driven hops from NZ, Australia and USA. 6.2% ABV.

Mosaic and Citra Hopped. Lower in alcohol than our usual Hazy IPAs and stupidly easy to drink. Like pouring smiles on your brain.
