Fruit notes of white fleshed stone fruits and ripe citrus zest lead to the rich, creamy mid-palate, with oak derived notes of grilled nuts and baking spice.

Ruby-red coloured wine, with pleasant fruity aromas and delicate sweet notes, well balanced, soft and round in the mouth. Perfect with savoury pasta, red meat and fresh cheeses.

Central Otago's cool climate consistently produces exceptional red fruit flavours of cherry, raspberry and redcurrant, but with concentration and length to match. This wine is layered with black and red berry fruits, complemented by blossoming aromas of dark plum.

On the nose, are notes of citrus, toasted almond and apple. The palate is focused and bright, with hints of grapefruit, nectarine and peach. The acidity is firm and linear, giving backbone to the soft orchard-fruit core and carrying through to a long fragrant finish.

A delicate Riesling with a finely textured palate featuring elegant minerality, lime zest and preserved lemon flavours which combine beautifully with floral, citrus and lemongrass aromatics. A delicate and textural dry Riesling with fine acidity.

On the nose, this single vineyard wine shows fragrant ripe apricots, white blossoms, hints of honeydew melon and orange peel. The palate is flavoursome and mouth filling with a refreshing zingy finish.

Blending the Maude Pinot Noir is one of their favourite and most important tasks. Each year, the magical blend from the Poison Creek and Mohawk Hill vineyards changes. Maintaining the pedigree of the Maude Pinot Noir is absolutely critical; but achieving this requires flexibility with both the blend as well as the technique as both vary with each vintage. Deep ruby red in colour with aromas of black cherries, subtle coffee crème, redcurrants and dark plums. The palate is intense and immediately mouth-filling with sweet plums and toasty notes. Elegant and powerful, the wine displays fine tannins but with great acidity that gives the wine freshness. Charming and extremely enjoyable now and will age in the bottle well for years to come.

Wynns Coonawarra Estate Black Label Shiraz is a benchmark example of cool-climate Australian Shiraz, known for its elegant style. The 2019 has pristine berry fruits dominating the nose. Initially, the reds fruits are apparent - cranberries and redcurrants but then there is darker fruit more blackcurrant. A classic medium-bodied Shiraz palate, crunchy dark berries with black pepper and some sweeter cinnamon notes. The 2019 has a lovely texture - fine tannin with lively acidity.
