Deep red colour, with garnet reflections. An inviting bouquet of ripe and warm fruits, black berry, marasca cherry, figs and vanilla. It has a smooth, full-bodied flavour and a round, persistent, enveloping aftertaste.

This Cabernet Sauvignon displays a bouquet of black briary fruit, cherry, spicy plum with hints of cigar box and violets, with the palate delivering ripe blackcurrant, morello cherry, red capsicum and chocolate notes complemented by hints of mint and cedar. Vibrant aromatics of purple fruited compote, spice and purple florals on the nose. The palate is dominated by dark fruits and brambles, spice and a hint of warming oak, with a seamless flow and integrated tannin.

The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon, first released in 2001, has been inspired by the great cricketing history of this vineyard. The wines consistently show great line and length. The nose leads with aromas of fresh tobacco leaf, cassis, boysenberry and spice. A silk like entry on the palate with super fine, detailed tannin, ripe berried fruits, a hint of tobacco and the classic brambles of Clare Cabernet to finish.
