Land that was once a high country sheep station is now a flourishing vineyard. Sheep and rabbits co-existed on the land for quite some time but the sheep couldn't keep up with the nocturnal activity of the rabbits, and in the end were driven off the land. Rabbits now run free on the vineyard and fuelled by high altitude Pinot Noir, some are reputed to be the size of ponies, but that's another story... The Rabbit Ranch Pinot Noir is made in a very soft, fruit forward, low tannin style - a wine to be savoured and supped, rather than an assault on the senses.

Aromas of black cherry, wild strawberry and star anise. The palate is soft and pillowy with a racing-stripe of boysenberry ripple through it. There are dark roses, raspberries, and notes of sandalwood and liquorice.

Fruit notes of black plum, blueberry and raspberry. The full fruit character is ably matched with big impact oak barrels which contribute a strong vanilla and toast aroma profile. The palate is squared off in equal measures of fruit opulence, crunch acidity, chunky tannins and a savoury long finish.

The Bergman Chardonnay is a full bodied bold Chardonnay. Stonefruit, melon, vanilla, biscuit and elegant oak all contribute to this complex wine which is totally barrel fermented.

Toasted aromatics with vanillan oak sweetness, raspberry and red currant notes mixed with some darker fruit tones, tobacco, leather and a hint cardamom spice. Savoury with upfront sweet berry fruits, spicey and rich on the palate with excellent concentration and a long juicy finish.

A complex and alluring bouquet of jasmine, pear, ginger and honeysuckle, intertwined with a zesty hint of mandarin peel. On the palate this wine is textural, rich and full-bodied, with concentrated stone fruit and spicy pear flavours, which persist on a long and juicy palate.

A fresh and delicious wine with blueberry & plum notes, along with floral flavours and a hint of spice.

Bright deep purple in colour, on the nose the Castaño Ecológico Barrica Monastrell delivers powerful aromas of blueberry, blackberry, violet and spices that follow on the palate. Along with this, there is a smoky candied touch and black peppery background from its brief ageing in oak. The aftertaste is long and silky.

A sweet, pleasant and fresh tasting wine, of great softness and stable balance, with good persistence and a fruity finish. Ideal as an aperitif and to accompany light first courses, appetizers, fresh cheeses and seafood. Excellent as a base for cocktails.

This little Rosé has aromas of strawberry and rock melon with spice and stone fruits. Strawberry again on entry with raspberry and apple. Soft and nicely structure with mouth-watering, tangy red fruits. Lively and balanced - dry finish.
