Nobody has more experience growing grapes in Marlborough than Allan Scott. Allan planted some of the region's most famous vineyards, including the very first and has worked the land there every vintage since. Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.
The nose is elegant with aromas of citrus blossom, hints of honeyed peel and spice. The palate is luscious and concentrated with nectarine and mandarin notes and a lingering lime and mineral finish ? a perfect foil to the natural sweetness of the wine.
Pale straw with green highlights in colour and aromas of floral, citrus rind, lime and a hint of spice, this wine delivers white peach and lime with spicy primary Riesling flavours on the palate, finishing with an integrated zesty acidity.
Notes of tangerine, apricot and jasmine white florals. Bright and lively nectarine introduces this wine to the palate. A moderate amount of residual sugar (30g/L) has been retained to balance the clean acidity.
