A great malt which Jim Murray awarded 95 points in his Whisky Bible, this is excellent value for money. The flavours are simple, but flawless, a clean, crisp 15 year old from the Dalwhinnie distillery, also part of Diageo's Classic Malts range.

The richly layered Glenfiddich 15YO single malt is matured in three types of oak cask: sherry, bourbon and new oak, before being married in thier unique, handcrafted Oregon pine Solera vat. Year on year, this Solera vat is never emptied but is always kept at least half full creating a deliciously harmonious and intense whisky which gets more complex and intriguing every year. Silky smooth, revealing layers of sherry oak, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger. Full-bodied and bursting with flavour. Serve neat, with a couple of drops of water (to bring out the flavours), or over ice.

Oban is one of Scotland's oldest and smallest distilleries. Founded in 1794, the West Highland port town of the same name has grown around the distillery. Patrón Añejo is handcrafted from the finest 100% Weber Blue Agave and is carefully distilled in small batches at the Hacienda Patrón distillery in Jalisco, Mexico. It's then aged in a combination of French oak, Hungarian oak and used American whiskey barrels. Our 15-year-old Black River Casks is a tribute to the Black River that is integral to Jamaica's rum history and the source of the limestone-filtered water used to craft our rums. This blend of rare and hand-selected pot and column still rums are crafted with Jamaican limestone-filtered water, with no added flavours, and have all been aged for a minimum of 15 years in the tropical climate of Jamaica. It has a coppery hue appearance with a honey gold ring of age. This full-bodied rum reveals aromas of toasted almond and delicate hazelnut followed by notes of intense orange peel, rich vanilla and subtle hints of medium roasted coffee and molasses. Ardbeg Uigeadail (pronounced 'Oog-a-dal') takes its name from the brooding, mysterious loch which provides the peat-laden water for Ardbeg. This is a special vatting of different styles of Ardbeg, marrying together its traditional deep, smoky notes with the luscious, sweet, raisiny tones of old ex-sherry casks.

The whisky has a powerful, peat-smoke aroma, and is described as being robustly full-bodied, well balanced, and smooth, with a slight sweetness on the palate. International Spirit ratings competitions have generally given Lagavulin's 16-year spirit extremely high scores.
