A dark ruby red that leads to a medium bodied palate that's dry. Smooth tannins are enhanced by blackberry and blueberry flavours.

Bright deep purple in colour, on the nose the Castaño Ecológico Barrica Monastrell delivers powerful aromas of blueberry, blackberry, violet and spices that follow on the palate. Along with this, there is a smoky candied touch and black peppery background from its brief ageing in oak. The aftertaste is long and silky.

Established in 1864 by Jean Désiré Féraud, Monte Christo is the birthplace of Central Otago wine. Their wines are made with 100% estate-grown fruit sourced from their vineyards across three distinct sub-regions, the Alexandra Basin, Bannockburn and Pisa. Utilising sustainable farming practices and minimal intervention methods in the winery, the outcome is elegant, refined, and impeccably balanced wines epitomising the terroir of Central Otago. With dark plums and spice, this Pinot Noir has bright acidity and a soft finish.

On the palate, it's full-bodied yet refined - an elegant balance of structure and freshness, with creamy bubbles and notes of pear, brioche, and fresh walnut.

The nose, very open and expressive, delivers aromas of fruit and brioche. It also gives off the fragrance of peach, white flowers (hawthorn, acacia) and vanilla pod. The entry onto the palate is lively, fresh and in total harmony. This is a delicate wine with flavours of fresh fruit and honey.

River Run is Chard Farm's Central Otago regional Pinot Noir made from grapes grown in their vineyards in different sub-regions of Central Otago. The deep alpine valleys and waterways of Central Otago have craved the land available for grape growing into quite distinct sub-regions. Each pocket of land has its own unique climate and soil mix producing quite different styles of Pinot Noir. River Run captures the character of each of the sub-regions where are vineyards are planted. Lowburn gives bright, fresh sweet fruit, Gibbston savory and herbal tones, and Parkburn brings good texture and mineral length. An expressive and complex bouquet with sweet floral notes swirling around ripe cherry and plum fruit with aromatic spice in the background. There's ample fresh fruit and velvety tannin on a palate that is elegant, satisfying and highly drinkable.

This wine has enticing aromas of ripe peach, hazelnut, brioche and hints of vanillin. Ten months in a mix of new and seasoned French Oak gives a balanced and elegant palate with a soft and lingering mealy, nutty and seductive finish.

Deep brick red in colour, this wine exudes aromas of cherry, red currant, cigar box and chocolate, with hints of toasty oak. The palate exhibits similar flavours with the addition of fine tannins and liquorice, with a warm spicy finish.

This wine is an elegant, off-dry style, with wonderful floral and citrus aromatics, matched with lemon, lime and stone fruit flavours. Lovely texture, distinct minerality and a lively acidity make for a harmonious palate.
