In the glass, a beautiful pale pink salmon colour. On the nose, bright and fresh with aromatics of strawberry, redcurrant and candied cherry with hints of floral and vanilla. The Limited Release range is created using selected parcels and only ever made in small amounts. This Limited Release Sauvignon Blanc is made from a selection of Mount Riley's most expressive fruit. Pale straw with green hues. A complex and expressive nose showing passionfruit, crushed herb, and blackcurrant with undertones of boxwood and citrus pith. A wine of striking fruit purity and concentration with fresh but balanced acidity and great length of flavour.

Floral fragrances of sweet spice and ripe soft red berry fruits, while showcasing an elegant medium-weight palate that features fragrant strawberry and bramble fruit, earthiness and subtle tannins.

Herbal aromas of green bell pepper mixed with white stone fruits. On the palate, this wine is generous and full-bodied with lush stone and passion fruits. A creamy mouth feel is balanced by crisp citrus acid drive and great length of flavour.

Floral notes alongside white fleshed peach, pear and all spice characters. The palate displays these same characters in abundance focusing on ripe succulent peach notes, while the mid palate is full, creamy and well textured. The wine has a rich, spice infused finish.

Mt Difficulty is a boutique winery located in Bannockburn, Central Otago, and was named after the mountain overlooking Felton road and the southern Cromwell basin. As the vineyards are ageing Mt Difficulty are starting to see additional complexity emerging each vintage. Inviting and opulent, the palate is flush with sweet cherry & blueberry, followed by trademark earth & savoury notes and framed by baking spice and fine grained French Oak. The fruit floods through to the finish with a juicy balance, indicating acidity that will keep the wine aging well.

Supple gooseberry notes introduces the wine before moving into a broadly textured mid-palate. A lovely acid line drives passionfruit flavours on the finish.
