Trinity Hill Gimblett Gravels wines are crafted from vineyards within this small, sub-region of Hawke's Bay. The Homage is a beautifully aromatic wine with interwoven berry purity oak sophistication. A thoughtful and expressive wine sourced from the Fusilier Vineyard in Bannockburn, named in honour of Sam Neill's father, Major Dermot Neill of the Royal Irish Fusiliers. Planted entirely in 2000, this north-facing vineyard sits on rolling terraces at the western end of Felton Road, with deep alluvial soils of silt, sand and schist-derived gravel contributing to its distinctive character. Aromatically brooding and intriguing, the wine reveals dark, layered notes while remaining elegant, fragrant and fresh at its core. Bold yet finely balanced, it is a beautifully poised expression of this exceptional Central Otago Pinot Noir site.
