Exuding opulence, this is a full bodied, seductive style of Hawke's Bay Cab Sauv. Rich, ripe and fragrant it expresses layers of dark berry and cherry fruit supported by lifted violet perfume, warm exotic spice and notes of dusty cacao, vanilla, smoky charcuterie and a subtle underlying earthiness. On the palate, the wine manages both luxuriousness and elegance with a plushness of texture that is supported by silky tannins, drawing the wine out across the back palate and lending great length to the finish.

The vibrant blueberry and floral notes of Te Awanga Syrah are combined here with the power and structure of SH50 Syrah to produce an eminently drinkable synergy.

Dark on the nose, with appealing aromatics of black cherry and bramble fruit. The palate reveals layers of florals, gentle spice, melding with notes of boysenberry and Doris plum and framed by finely realised, silky tannins and juicy acidity.

Aromas of black fruits, a touch of pepper, some meatiness and lovely, savoury oak. A beautifully structured wine. Full bodied with silken tannins and great length.

Coriole Songbird Cabernet is highly aromatic, with aromas of mulberry, blackcurrant, plum and dark chocolate. The palate has lovely generosity and crunchy textural tannins, showing flavours of cassis, red berries, boysenberry and dark cherry. This is a bright, playful and modern cabernet which will remain fresh in the bottle for some time.

A fruity, soft, medium-bodied wine, with an intense red colour and a warm bouquet of ripe red fruits such as blackberry and plum. Perfect in combination with roasts, grilled meats and first courses.

This classic, well-rounded, plum-scented Italian red is made from Montepulciano grapes grown in the Abruzzo region, on Italy's Adriatic coast.

Le Sol (French: the soil) is born of the renowned Gimblett Gravels viticultural appellation, with its gravelly soils attracting the sun in summer and insulating the vines in winter. The vines are planted in the stoniest parts of the vineyard to a heritage clone of Syrah brought to New Zealand in the 1840s. Intensively hand managed, the grapes reveal a deep dark Syrah with purple hues. Le Sol is always aromatically pure with a luscious yet elegant mid-palate and a distinctive fine tannin finish. Very dark purple core. Abundant sweet, black fruits lead the bouquet, notably boysenberry and blueberry aromas. The tannin structure of the wine is exemplary and seamless from start to finish. The wine shows considerable drinkability in its youth, and the intensity is the highest in several years.

Craggy Range's Gimblett Gravels Merlot is carefully selected from parcels of Merlot in their Gimblett Gravels Vineyard. The warm, gravelly soils are perfect for the production of Merlot and the moderate heat allows the wine to retain freshness and structure without showing over-ripe characters. Bright garnet red with a crimson hue. Charming blue and red fruits vaunt the bouquet, with subtle brioche notes and black liquorice underneath. A warming core with plush blue fruits drives immediate deliciousness, but the dense tannin structure and fresh acid ensure a rewarding future.

The vines originate from a Heritage clone of Syrah brought to New Zealand around 150 years ago. Produced from the gravelly soils of the Gimblett Gravels, this distinct Syrah shows an aromatic lift of floral and pepper aromatics with lushness and elegance on the palate. Deep red with a purple hue. Tremendous aromatic lift, with lavender and sweet cherries rising from the glass. The palate has significant density but a perfect balance that already encourages drinking.
