Allan planted some of the region's most famous vineyards, including the very first and has worked the land there every vintage since. Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.

Aromatics burst with pear, quince and a hint of white florals. On the palate the wine is concentrated with a touch of sweetness complementing the intense flavour while retaining freshness.

A bright and expressive nose with notes of white peach, passionfruit and pineapple. The palate bursts with citrus, lime and a hint of blackcurrant leaf. The mouthfeel is electric and lively with a long dry finish.

A range of different characteristics can be identified on the nose - black cherry fruit, spicy notes of leather and musk, tobacco and vanilla oak. Medium to full bodied with some finesse, concentrated red fruit compote flavours and smooth, mellow tannins on the finish.

A deliciously rich, sweet, dessert wine showing almost 'chocolatey' characters on the nose and palate.

This wine is blended from selected parcels of old fortified tawny that have been aged in large and small oak barrels. It shows developed fruit/oak characters that are nicely underpinned by the use of the fine brandy spirit.

Intense colour with bright purple hues. Vibrant black fruits with rich dark chocolate and subtle vanillin oak aromas. Medium to full bodied palate weight, characterised by satisfying tannins and a savoury masculine finish. An Ideal accompaniment to red meat and premium cuts of prime beef.
