Black Barn's eight hectares of vineyards are situated on one of the oldest grape-growing areas in New Zealand and produce all of the winery's fruit. This wine has captivating aromas of violet, ripe raspberries, plums, and subtle star anise spices. It has a rich palate of dark berry fruits with a smooth and juicy plush tannin texture. An attractive, fresh and stylish Pinot Noir dominant rosé, full of Rainier cherry flavours and granite notes. Cranberry, watermelon and sea breeze aromas mingle on the nose. Elegant and well-balanced, this wine shows undertones of tamarillo, honeydew melon, oyster shell and subtle liquorish notes. The finish is clean and dry with a lick of salt.

With bright crimson hues, this delicious Syrah is bursting with blue fruits, plum, violets, and spice. There's a lovely earthiness on the palate with notes of raspberry, florals and just a touch of black pepper coming through. Plush tannins and a robust mouthfeel round off the finish. Pair with braised beef and barbecued vegetables.

Barrel aged in American Oak for 12 months, notes of raspberries, peppercorns, juniper and dried herbs with a touch of vanilla.

Phantom Chardonnay entices with its rich layers. Green apple and pear transform into spicy flavours of freshly baked apple pie, while barrel fermentation imparts a creamy, luscious mouthfeel.

On the nose there is an array of floral notes with Nashi pear and apples, complemented by white peach and guava flavours. Lovely flavours of Nashi pear and apple combine on the palate to create fullness with crisp acidity to create balance.

This vibrant Merlot exhibits crushed dark berry, cocoa and cedar aromas that are echoed on the palate. Fine tannins support the fruit for a smooth, lingering finish.
