It embodies the bold, pioneering spirit of the California landscape and those who call it home. 100% barrel fermented, then aged for six months in French and American oak barrels, this Chardonnay isn't the oak-bomb style of ten years ago. Instead, it strikes the perfect balance between richness and elegance. Their modern version of Cali Chard is bold and engaging, offering an unmistakable varietal signature that's perfect for pairing with your favourite home-cooked meals.

Born from a creative clash of personalities, the Borthwick Estate Left- and Right-Hand Pinot Noirs reflect the unique styles of precise, left-handed winemaker Briony Carnachan and intuitive, right-handed vigneron Paddy Borthwick. Crafted only in exceptional seasons using traditional Burgundian techniques, this Pinot Noir boasts an intense bouquet of cherries and plums, leading into a rich, silky palate of earth and spice with a finely integrated tannin structure.

Dense in colour with loads of ripe red fruits, black pepper, and spicy oak aromatics. The palate is loaded with rich red plum and wild berry fruits, and shows well balanced tannin and a silky smooth yet savoury mouth feel.

Deep purple and violet in glass, the nose presents well with darker florals, a touch of cassis, pepper spice and with a lovely dark spiced plum floating in the background. To taste the palate is supple and elegantly managed with gentle tannin and a long savoury spice finish with a hint of spice.

Ruby-red coloured wine, with pleasant fruity aromas and delicate sweet notes, well balanced, soft and round in the mouth. Perfect with savoury pasta, red meat and fresh cheeses.

Intense ruby red colour, a full-bodied wine with intense fruity perfumes, with soft, supple tannins and a long finish. Excellent with Mediterranean pasta and grilled red meat.

Full-bodied, offering a rich and structured mouthfeel. Bright acidity lifts the wine, balancing the fleshy black fruit flavours, while fine, grippy tannins provide a firm, subtle texture.

Aromas of dark cherry & plum. Chocolate vanilla and liquorice notes. Medium Bodied, dark berries and plummy flavour, soft, round, juicy palate. Underlying oak. Firm fine tannin structure.

On the nose there are aromas of citrus, as well as honeydew melon and some stone fruit (peach and nectarine). In addition there is a hint of struck match which adds complexity and a flinty minerality. The palate is concentrated with refreshing acidity and a lingering finish.
